Google Caffiene coming soon . . .

Did you hear? Google’s launching a new, upgraded version of its search engine soon. And just as important, the search giant released the developer’s preview of it today. Google promises that the new search tool (codename “Caffeine”) will improve the speed, accuracy, size, and comprehensiveness of Google search.

iPhone and Twitter

Ever since Twitter Lists started rolling out to all users, there has been a big race to add the feature to all the popular Twitter clients.

Web apps and Adobe Air-based apps got in on the action first and some native-platform clients are also on-board, but what about the platform that is responsible for much of Twitter’sTwitterTwitter explosive growth: mobile?

Google Maps Street View!

It’s a small tweak with some lovely implications: Google Maps has just much more tightly integrated Google Street View, so you can switch seamlessly between the two when looking for an address.

After performing a search in Google MapsGoogle Maps, you’ll see an option underneath the search result to go to “Street View,” which takes you to the street-level view of the business or location you’re searching for. The address will have a marker right in front of it, and you can use all the normal street view tools to zoom in or out and navigate the representation of the space.
